We currently operate a higher end quality preschool in Horn Lake,MS. After 5+ years in business we have decided to expand and build another school. This requires a fair amount of capital which is tied up in the current school. We are currently looking for a partner for investment purposes. We would also entertain an offer to buy our current business and then build a second one.
New schools being built around the country are currently costing well over $3 million plus contents and bus. The building was appraised in 2006 for $2,500,000.00 This school could be financed for much less than a new building, and has the added advantage of instant cash flow. Banks love the great cash flow, but of course they still want at least 10% down.
Our annual revenues have increased each year. Our weekly tuition rates recently increased and the school is basically full. Very few parents leave us for other schools other than for relocation or job issues. We often have waiting lists in most and sometimes all of our classrooms. We service the Horn Lake, Southaven, Hernando and Olive Branch areas just outside Memphis, TN. Many of our parents work in the Tunica casino industry.
We have an excellent staff onboard and much lower than normal turnover. As a result of an excellent operation and great staff, experience in the Childcare business is not required, but of course would be helpful if you were to be part of the daily operations.
We are open to a number of potential partnerships ranging from silent partners to a full hands-on type of operation. Being a franchise, we also have the support of a national company.
